In Marcel L'Herbier's 1924 film L'Inhumaine (The Inhuman Woman) human feeling becomes an experiment. It is the dream of an age intoxicated by progress: the promise and threat of the machine turned into theatre. Mystery, desire and science fiction through the geometric lens of the Parisian art deco scene. Herbier described it as 'the fairy story of modern decorative art'
Zuri is a Spanish DJ based in Manchester. For this show, she has played around with this visual landscape to soundtrack Herbier's silent film into her show.
