DJ and radio host blissy e has been carving out a career in music since her infancy. Her time spent studying classical music at university, working at a record label, and being brought up on a concoction of soul, reggae, hip hop, and funk has moulded her into the artist she is today.
Taking inspiration from her Caribbean roots, afro-centric contributions to art, and her love of the club scene, she’s developed a distinctive sound that celebrates music from all corners of the globe.
Since securing residencies on Noods Radio and Melodic Distraction in early 2021, she’s been forging a name for herself in the independent radio world, earning gigs with Robert Owens, Janet Kay & Carroll Thompson, Pinty, WOLF Music, Tim Garcia & Afla Sackey at venues such as Jazz Cafe, NT’s Loft, Jumbi, The Standard, 91 Living Room, We Out Here, Gottwood Festival and more.
Now a breakfast host on Voices Radio and presenter on Foundation FM, blissy e continues to evolve as a DJ and showcase her unique sonic blend to the world.
