Irazema H Vera

Irazema H Vera is a sound artist and musicologist from Puno, in the south of Peru.

For this show, she shares an exploration of music from Puno. This anthology brings together music expressions from this particular region, known for its complex sonic diversity and a long phonographic tradition. Having a strong music heritage and connection with this territory, Irazema carefully curates a musical journey through specific moments and places, as an attempt to show the vibrant spirit of the Altiplano, which tirelessly resonates with the mountains and the lake close to the clouds.
